Summary/Abstract: After the end of the First World War the Bulgarian state and society encounter difficult political, social and economic problems due to the arrival of large groups of bulgarian refugees from Macedonia, Thrace and Dobrudja, territorialized by neighboring Balkan states. In 1923, as result of the development of the Greco-Turkish military conflict, serious changes develop in the political situation on the Balkan peninsula.
