Summary/Abstract: The general aim of the research is to get the opinions of the violin teacher candidates about their teaching skills and achievements through micro teaching technique, and to demonstrate the usability and functionality of the technique in the light of these opinions. For this purpose, the application process of micro teaching technique was applied to Necmettin Erbakan University Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education Fine Arts Education Department Music Education Department and individual instrument violin (n = 7) teacher candidates and Konya Çimento Fine Arts High School Music Department violin (n = 7) students. Teacher candidates have fulfilled all stages of micro teaching in the application process. Immediately after the implementation period, the opinions of prospective teachers were influenced by their own opinions on some of the teachers’ skills and behaviors in the classroom and the thoughts on the micro teaching technique were determined through interview form. Descriptive analysis was performed on the opinions taken and the common opinions that were combined with the prospective teachers were emphasized. As a result, teacher candidates stated that micro teaching technique had a positive impact on overall teacher qualifications and provided an increase in skills and behaviors related to violin teaching.
