Summary/Abstract: The Phrygians are a bright civilization that dominated the geography called Phrygia in Anatolia in the seventh century BC and left behind many open-air monuments. This geographical region, known as the second Cappadocia and the Phrygian Valley, is located in Kütahya, Eskişehir, Afyon. The region is rich with rock monuments, motifs and decorations. Considering this region from an artistic perspective, it is important to draw attention to the history and cultural heritage of the city. The purpose of this study is to transforming rock and rock monuments, embellishments and motifs that cover the Phrygian Valley into artistic interpretations and analyze these works. This study is degined as a qualitive study. Excurtion, examination and practice methods are used in this study. Works constitude the scoope of this research were compiled from 22 works of 15 students who were took part in the “Touching the Phrygian Valley through Art” (Project No: 2016-13)project supported by Dumlupınar University Scientific Research Projects. 10 art Works of 9 students were selected and analyzed in this study. In the analyzed art works, Phrygian Valley rock monuments, embossments, inscriptions, motifs have been interpreted with an aesthetic concern.
