Summary/Abstract: Dimitar Petkov (21 Oct. 1858–26 Feb. 1907) is an eminent political figure – a volunteer in the Russo-Turkish War, a member of the Liberal Party, a supporter of Stefan Stambolov and his right hand, a publicist, member of parliament, and mayor of Sofia during the first Stambolov cabinet (1887–1894).
