Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the core and the specific features of the modern concepts of natural use and conservation. The focus is on the natural resources and their effective exploitation. The strategies of the ecologicalization of the industrial production ensuring the quality and competitiveness of the finished products are considered. Attention is also paid to low-waste and wastewater technology as a prepequisite for future sustainable development of society and improvement of the quality of the environment.
