Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with two nineteenth-century lithographs, preserved in the mosque of the village of Yasenkovo, Šumen District. They have equal size (28 х 41 cm) but represent individually the Muslim sanctuaries in Mecca and Medina. The analysis is focused on the identification and historical development of the depicted elements of the two religious complexes.
