Summary/Abstract: In this article I will overview the theories on biblical symbols that laid at the basis of several personal sculptures. Such is the case of Old Testament motifs drawing on Abraham and the New Testament (the Last Supper and the Cathedral). The main sources of inspiration are external and internal frescoes of medieval monasteries from the Byzantine and neo-Byzantine space.
