Summary/Abstract: The word ‘kütüphane’ (library), a compound of an Arabic and a Persian word, means the house where books are read. As a technical term, kütüphane/libraries are social institutions where data sources, especially books and so forth are provided, organized and where conditions are created to make people make maximum use of these sources in order to meet the society’s knowledge requirement. In this study, introduction of printed books about Arabic Language and Literature in the Library of Faculty of Theology will be made. We aim at assisting researchers by making somehow a classifıcation of books.
