Summary/Abstract: In Arabic, the verbs can be classified from various aspects. The verbs are divided into two parts in terms of possessing object; transitive and intransitive. The transitive ones are those which are not used with objects while the intransitive ones are those that are used with objects in sentence structure. Whether any verb can be used by transitive or intransitive verbs is semai. They must be heard by the native speaker of that language. But in order to comprehend whether the verb encountered is transitive or intransitive, one should know the characteristics of both. Though transitive and intransitive verbs are different from each other, being translated by various methods they can be converted into a more functional condition.
