Summary/Abstract: Events in the country’s history are older, usually known by the vast majority of the population, some related to the current state, which is useful to remember. During the events of December 1989 Hungary insisted the UN intervention in Romania, during the disturbances preceding the date of 22 December. In the memoirs of Gyula Horn, Foreign Minister of Hungary at that time, he stated that the Security Council, China has protested vehemently against a Security Council resolution aimed at military intervention of Western countries in Romania!
