Summary/Abstract: In the first part of her contribution the author demonstrates, on the basis of the measures taken by the highest state and Banate authorities in the 1930s, what dimensions the antiaircraft defence doctrine in the Drava Banate achieved. In the second part, with the aid of printed sources, archive materials and memoirs, the author demonstrates, on the example of Ljubljana, how the measures dealing with the issues regarding the protection of the population and buildings in case of the air raid danger were carried out in practice.
