Summary/Abstract: The presented paper Terminological-collocation glossary of gastronomy for the needs of school practice focuses on compiling a glossary of terminological entries and their collocations obtained by selecting from the professional literature, serving the needs of education in hotel schools. The defined aim was an interlingual and intralingual analysis of a section of excerpted entries in Slovak and German, grouped into a common thematic field, which was structured into areas, sub-areas or smaller structural unities. The acquired entries and their translation equivalents in the parallel language will serve the user in the decoding of a foreign language text or allow the creation of a foreign text.
