AN EVALUATION ON THE CONCEPTION OF RELIGION IN THE HITTITE CIVILIZATION

Summary/Abstract: In this study, an evaluation study was conducted on the religious beliefs of the Hittites. The subject was removed from the masters thesis. Although the Hittites are one of the rooted civilizations, it is difficult to find information about their religious beliefs. In this study, we tired to concentrate on the religious beliefs of the Hittites. The subject is discussed in detail and provided to the reader with useful information. We have taken care to draw attention to these factors, since generally the belief systems are affected by the external factor, the geographies and societies encountered. The tolerance of the Hittites against the new belief systems they face is one of the most important points in this study.
