Summary/Abstract: In the following contribution the author describes the research of everyday life, the theoretical definition of the concept, the research of this phenomenon in the context of historiography and other humanities, as well as the historical outline and the overview of everyday life research in historiography. In the second part of the contribution the author presents the research techniques, methodology, and the various sources, useful for the research of everyday life in socialism.
