Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to critically examine the nature of philosophical approaches to the burning question of ecological crisis. In this context, study will primarily focus on the specific dilemmas that have caused the current ecological crisis and the questions brought by these dilemmas and secondly to the relationship between ethical approaches dominating the environmental philosophy and current ecological crisis. Philosophy, in fact, is unable to ignore the main problems of its age. And in this sense, it is not possible to say that philosophy is reckless about ecology. However, while philosophy deals with contemporary problems, it has, by its very nature, repositions the focus of interrogation with a conceptual framework and transforms for constituent philosophical discussions.
