THE MODEL OF FORMATION OF PROFESSIONALLY-ORIENTED COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS OF "JOURNALISM" SPECIALTY

Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the problems of formation of professionally - oriented competence of students of "Journalism" specialty. In our research we have identified subcomponents of the above mentioned competence and principles of teaching process aimed at formation of professionally-oriented competence of future journalists. Also the model of the formation of professionally-oriented competence has been elaborated on the basement of critical analysis of the sources, interviewing and modeling. Experimental teaching was conducted to verify the validity of the model. The experimental groups demonstrated better results in comparison with control ones which confirms the validity of the model.
