Summary/Abstract: Introduction The prescription of antidepressants depends on availability and level of refudation. The aim of the study was to evaluate the overall use and availability of antidepressants (N06A) in patients in 2015 in Serbia, the Republic of Srpska and Slovakia. Methods Data on drug use are consolidated from the annual reports of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices in the Republic of Serbia, the Health Insurance of Republika Srpska and the MCR in the Republic of Slovakia. Data on prices and fees are consolidated from the Health Insurance Fund of Serbia, the Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of Srpska and the Ministry of Health of Slovakia. All medicines are classified according to the Anatomical-Therapeutic-Chemical Classification System (ATC system).
