Summary/Abstract: The French Revolution is a social movement that has led to the establishment of the overthrow of the absolute monarchy in France and the serious reform of the Roman Catholic Church. This is a turning point in the history of Europe and the Western world. The revolution that broke out in such an environment created an impact that swept the whole world. This event has deeply shaken countries with multinational structures. The Ottoman Empire also took its share from this interaction. Although many of the ethnic elements of the Ottoman Empire in the process, untouched from the process, the potential of the revolution has not been calculated well in this situation has been the most damaged country. Now it has passed to the process of Ottoman distribution, innovations, promises and forward studies have remained unanswered. The next bone structure of disintegration studies is the idea movements. The fragmentation of the Ottomans some ideas were put forward to prevent and rebuild the unity. They discussed reunification under the titles of ‘’Ottomanism, Islamism, Westernism ve Turkism; and thus aimed at preventing disintegration. However, every idea movement has failed because it contains negative consequences or is thought to be so.
