Summary/Abstract: When healthcare is needed during a temporary stay in another Member State, necessary healthcare should be given to the persons as soon as possible, which in turn demands that their rights are guaranteed. The report includes description of the range of instruments through which persons with medical insurance are patients in a Member State other than the Member State of affiliation could receive healthcare provided in that territory.
