Summary/Abstract: The so-called Third Resistance is a topic which does not appeal only to a small group of experts but has the potential to elicit broad public debate. The lack of consensus in the historian community and the fact that this topic overlaps into the public space and politics is a cause of concern for some teachers so they eventually prefer to skip it. This article attempts to show how the phenomenon of the anti-communist resistance in the late 1940s and early 1950s could be approached in schools and what educational objectives may be linked with it.
