Summary/Abstract: This article explores the dimension of moral-Christian education and its influence on the behavior of high school students. A theoretical introduction points out that adolescence is often characterized by the risk of deviant behavior, which can become visible among high school students, taking various forms within the school and influencing their whole educational development. Moral-Christian education is an educational component which can play an important role in preventing deviant behavior and can lead to the formation of prosocial behavior, guided by moral values. The comparative study was conducted in two high schools in Timisoara (a confessional school and a state school) and used a quantitative method based on the questionnaire technique. The results revealed a relevant influence of moral-Christian education in preventing deviant behavior among high school students.
