Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the judgement rendered in the case I.C. v. Romania, and the effects of this conviction on the rights of the victims – persons with disabilities, evidenced by the addition of several articles in the Criminal Procedure Code. Furthermore, necessarily, the article also raises the problem of the evolution and adaptation of the offence investigation methods based on the level of vulnerability of the victim.
