THE CEREMONY OF ENGAGEMENT FEAST IN THE HOT OF THE HIGHLAND OF MBISHKODRA DURING THE SECOND HALF OF THE XX-TH CENTURY TO THIS DAY

Summary/Abstract: The subject of this paper is about the description in detail of the engagement ceremony in Hot and its comparison, how it was at the time of the fathers, and how we find it today, from mediators, appointment, and engagement. Our research and studies have been done in the area of Hot, which has been geographically separated since 1913, but indivisible as an fraternity-tribe and ethnicity. The time dimension is defined, c. XX, especially the second part, until the beginning of the XXI century, following the chronological progress of the engagement ceremony. The work methodology is carefully handled, utilizing the works of different authors, the bearers' legends about our past and present, as well as the researches we have made in the archives. All of these have been subjects of study of ethnological, folkloric aspect, closely related to other sciences such as with linguistics, ethnography, history etc. In addition to the description and comparison, we have made the explanations of local words, briefly some issues and problems like, the lack and the record of songs devoted to engagement, misfortune, etc.
