Summary/Abstract: This article constitutes an analysis of the discursive connectors exploited by President Nicolas Sarkozy in his greetings for the year 2011. Analyzes based on the study of the relation between the argumentative function of the connectors, the suprasegmental features and the pause. This study required the use of prosody analyis software.
