Summary/Abstract: At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century the institutions intensely commented facts related to the dropping of students out of school. They tried to fi nd a solution for this problem and take special measures. The measures for assistance were considered in two directions – social assistance of the students during their study and social assistance of the students after their graduation.
