Summary/Abstract: In recent decades, the concept of lifelong learning is gaining more popularity. This concept stems from the World Movement “Education for All” Memorandum of the European Commission for Education, the Program for international educational activity of the Bologna Declaration on Higher Education and others. There are different forms to implement the strategy for lifelong learning among the elderly people. In this respect, the so-called “Universities of the Third Age”, as well as the various associations and movements for association among older people, to strengthen relations and mutual understanding between the generations are of essential importance.
