Summary/Abstract: This paper highlights the importance of organising pair work, group work and plenum activities in teaching the German language and its faster learning and acquisition. Also provided are functions, advantages and disadvantages of the given forms of class organisation. In addition, we look into the level of interestedness of students in these forms and present the results of a poll conducted among the German language course students at the Faculty of Philology in Banja Luka, with recommendations for future activities provided in the final section of the paper.
