Summary/Abstract: Erstes deutsches Lesebuch für die III. Progymnasialklasse is not only the first German language reading book, but also a leading benchmark for the study of this language in Bulgaria. The good visualization of the material, the use of illustrations as an aid for learning foreign language vocabulary and for speaking momentum explains why the book has several reprints for the purpose of secondary education in German language in Bulgaria.
