Summary/Abstract: The results of research can contribute to the definition of social policy directions, promoting the combining of professional development and taking up parental functions. The undertaken analysis indicates that running one’s own company is a form that facilitates a flexible combination of social roles, enables the self-realization of an individual, and at the national level leads to economic growth.
