Summary/Abstract: This text is an announcement of the 3rd International Conference on Sociolinguistics, with the special themes of diversities, new media and language management, to be held in Prague, Czech Republic on August 26–28, 2020. The conference is being organized by the Faculty of Arts, Charles University and the Czech Language Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Contibutions will be invited on issues belonging to the main thematic areas as well as on all other topics in sociolinguistics.
