Summary/Abstract: Zivojin Glisic (Skopje, 27.7.1954), guitar player, composer, arranger, educator. The work of Glisic in the Macedonian music culture in general, deserves a special attention. His versatility as an author can be seen in the remarkable scope of work which entails various works in terms of style and genre. Large number of his works expresses his affinity towards jazz and South American music, however he does not manifest less interest towards the inexhaustible source - Macedonian musical folklore. Glisic has been given many significant awards and recognitions for his work in the country and abroad. The aim of this paper is to explain the approach of the composer towards the traditional musical forms Suite and Passacaglia.
