Summary/Abstract: The text represents interactive approaches and exercises used in the Bulgarian language teacher’s practice for the fifth grade - preparation and execution of a debate, preparation and presentation of projects, work in groups, placing the student in the role of a proof-reader and etc. Concrete examples are being given for the use of interactive approaches during the classes. The concept that this method of teaching provokes theinterest of children is being expressed, as well as the fact that it awakens their emotionality,helps for the implementation of connections between subjects and as a whole raises the efficiency of Bulgarian language lessons.
