Summary/Abstract: Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party was directed by Árpád Barabás as a coproduction between theatres in Gheorgheni, Miercurea-Ciuc and Odorheiu Secuiesc. Kata Győrfi considers in her review that eventhough the performance places its characters sensitively in the environment of Sekler small towns and constructs the humour of the basic situation with precision, it lacks a more ample ideatic framing that would transcend the comic situations.
