Summary/Abstract: The author presents a lot of six divisionary Wallachian coins issuedunder Mircea the Elder (1386-1418) from the Maria and Dr. George SevereanuCollection. After organizing the numismatic material according to the marks on theobverse, five groups resulted, adding novel information for a better understanding ofthe coins issued by Mircea the Elder. Thus, this lot of divisionary coins from the Mariaand Dr. George Severeanu Collection has a significant contribution to our insight intothis monetary species otherwise insufficiently treated in the literature. The catalogueand the illustration complete the article.
