Warrants as Securities

Summary/Abstract: New Civil Code has raised doubts as to the legal nature of warrants. Some scholarly articles have already pointed out that the legislation contained in provision § 1939 et seq. of Law no. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, could potentially resemble the definition of securities. The paper responds to this view and contributes to the discussion on the topic.
