FLINT TOOLS DISCOVERED AT STRĂULEŞTI

Summary/Abstract: Rescue excavations conducted at Străuleşti, led to the discovery of a pit feature containing four flint tools, characteristic for the Gumelnitsa culture. The presentpaper aims to be a detailed presentation of these artefacts, in an attempt to supplement our knowledge of the Eneolithic period in Bucharest and the surrounding areas.
