Summary/Abstract: The formal representation of mathematical relations in spreadsheets is different from the usual algebraic representation and computer programs doing mathematics. We will demonstrate how this alternative representation can help understanding mathematical concepts in a new way that can be very helpful for learners not yet fluent in the “algebraic language” of mathematics.
