Summary/Abstract: The paper considers basic features of the interactive educational environment in higher school. The possibilities of the interactive methods are shown for increasing the motivation and the activity of students in the teaching process. Special attention is paid to the interactive method of brainstorming together with some fundamental requirement sand methodological notes for its application in the educational practice. Examples are given for its use in seminars in different mathematical disciplines.
