Summary/Abstract: The author tries to point to the causes of secularization in our society. He says that the Church has also contributed to it. While the Church was describing this new, citizens' society as "rebellious" and "anticlerical", not recognizing the fact that the revolutuon had been intended principally against the ecclesiastic country authorities, secularisation was slowly entering all the segments of modern Christian society in Europe.
