About the Membership of Citizens of Other Member States of the European Union in Czech Political Parties

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes the membership of citizens of the European Union in Czech political parties according to the Act No. 424/1999 Coll., On Association in Political Parties and Political Movements. The author leaves the common public opinion that just citizens of Czech Republic may be members of Czech political parties. Based on legal research and relevant facts, the author represents a statement that also citizens of other member states of the European Union can be members of Czech political parties.
