Summary/Abstract: It is one of priorities for the company management to maintain its financial li-quidity as it conditions its survival. That is why this paper aims at measuring financial li-quidity and evaluating the financial risk in non-financial sectors in Poland over the years 2004-2009. The research has shown that there is a big sector differentiation in financial li-quidity ratios, efficiency ratios and that there is a very strong and significant linear correla-tion between these indicators. The analysis of average values of liquidity and efficiency ra-tios for all sectors helps to notice their strong dependence on the economic cycle phase. However, the standard deviation of these ratios has revealed sectors with the lowest and greatest level of liquidity risk.
