The Prayers of the Faithful in the Liturgy of Good Friday

Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the general prayer of the faithful in the liturgy of the Great Friday. The aim of this study is to outline the historical development of the general prayers of the faithful in the liturgy in question. It is based on the historical and comparative analysis and examines the more significant texts of this prayer in the history of liturgical books, such as the Sacramentary, Pontifical, Ordine and various missals.
