Summary/Abstract: Introduction. The bond between man and horse has always had a unique character, often turning into passion and shaping the quality of life of horse users. By definition, the quality of life denotes taking measures that are important to the individual. A special role to play in the lives of people who are involved in breeding horses as professionals or amateurs take various forms of contact. Aim. The purpose of the present paper is to show the kind of influence exerted by practicing horse riding upon their breeders and owners. The tested group was formed from the members of Polish Arabian Horse Breeders Association, because Arabian horses are especially highly esteemed by the Polish users. Methods. A diagnostic survey was used as a research method in the form of a survey questionnaire. Results and conclusions. The results of the survey confirmed the established working hypothesis. The vast majority of respondents considered the impact of riding on their quality of life as positive, only 5 patients (8.77%) were undecided, and there were no negative responses. Most of the surveyed members of the Association ride a horse, because they enjoy it.
