Summary/Abstract: In the present paper the author deals with the topic of »Religion as a human experience, « trying to interpret the main thematic concepts, which are: experience, human experience, religious experience, »transcendental« experience, belief, faith, faith experience, and above all faith in God. He is faced with a variety of opinions, especially in the field of philosophy, particularly those philosophers who are critical of any religious viewpoint. Particular att ention is devoted to criticism of religious language (speaking about God or theological statements) seeking solutions of the problems. It has been pointed out that in a purely philosophical approach is difficult to justify religious claims and att itudes. At the end the author briefly touches on the difficulties in the field of psychology, addressing the most famous Swiss psychologist of religion C. G. Jung.
