Summary/Abstract: This article reviews and advances existing literature concerning the advancement of artificial intelligence-based technologies in medicine. Using and replicating data from McKinsey & Co., PwC, Statista, and YouGov/Trustmarque, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding business functions in which artificial intelligence has been adopted (by industry), digitized organizations’ adoption of artificial intelligence capabilities, core artificial intelligence practices in place at organizations, consumer attitudes towards connected and wearable healthcare devices, and global digital health market by major segment.
