Summary/Abstract: The objective of this study was to find out whether the different previous information, said to a subjectstanding before learning an unknown motion task, can influence the subject’s result in the given test. For the purposes of this study, as sensomotor test was used mirror drawing test. The tested persons werein the age range of 19–23 years. The sample of 150 persons (56% males, 44% females) was randomlydivided into three groups. In the course of testing, the persons being tested received information that theupcoming task is either very difficult or very easy. The control group received only test papers (Group 1).The group of the tested persons, influenced by the information that the test will be difficult (Group 3),achieved the best results. Group 3, however, needed the largest amount of time to fulfil tasks. Group 2,who received before the sensomotor test the information that the test will be easy, made significantlymore errors and spent more time with erring. Using the Kruskall-Wallis test, a statistically significantdifference between the groups was found in the number of errors (p = 0.0012) and the time spent witherring (p = 0.0008). These results suggest that if the probands have information that sensomotor tasksare difficult, they will achieve optimal performance.
