A Generalization of the Orthocentric Triangle

Summary/Abstract: The author proposes a generalization of the orthic triangle. The generalized triangle is defined by an arbitrary point of Ceva P and it is in perspective with the reference triangle ABC . We call it the H − triangle of point P . We call the H − transform of point P the mapping which assigns to point P the perspector of the H − triangle of point P and triangle ABC . We show that the H − transform is composition of two known transforms: the complement and the isogonal conjugate. We identify the images of a few remarkable points under the H − transform. The results in this paper could be used for testing of the computer program “Discoverer”.
