Summary/Abstract: Asachi was the one who opened the windows towards beauty and invented it by translating the words through which he defined material shapes. If nowadays a Romanian historian or an art critic says: canvas, picture (it is impossible not to think about the well known ‚tabloane’ rendering historical scenes), lithography, it is also due to Asachi who was one of the first people who used and asserted them. At the same time, Gheorghe Asachi is the pioneer of some activities that became, in the modern formative educational system, beauty arts distinctive disciplines.
