Summary/Abstract: More than two hundred historians of education from all over the world came together in Riga in August 2013 to attend the annual International Standing Conference for the History of Education (ISCHE). The coming of this conference to the Baltic countries and the journey of the Baltic historians of pedagogy to ISCHE took several decades.
