Summary/Abstract: The present study focuses on the comparative analysis of two groups of patients with well controlled diabetes type 2 with glycosylated hemoglobin values less than 7% and poorly controlled diabetes miellitus with glycosylated hemoglobin values greater than 8 %, in terms of transaminase variations and aspartate aminotransferase (GOT)/alanine aminotransferase (GPT) and GPT /GOT ratios, reports which can guide the clinician to determine the etiology of a diagnosis, possibly by highlighting affections associated. Also, we discus here the combined possible metabolic and psychiatric relevance of the aforementioned results.
